About Us
If they say that a man’s home is his castle, then we’re in the doghouse! We have arranged our one-acre facility in East San Diego California County to be a place that dogs just love! We have a small pond, and we even bring in plastic kiddie pools to keep the puppies cool on hot summer days. We whelp and raise our puppies inside the house, welcoming them in as new members of the family. This keeps them in a clean environment, out of harms way, and free from disease or other pests. They don’t go outside until we know that it is safe for them.
Our puppies are born and raised inside our house with their mother, Maggie, in a controlled environment. We keep a close eye on them and oversee their safety at all times. The yard is completely fenced to ensure the puppies safety (once they are large enough to venture outside). As they mature, the puppies are put to bed in their own crates (starting the crate training process), and each morning they anxiously run outside to "answer nature's call." They eat a custom-mixed healthy "breakfast," and begin another day of new adventures! We socialize all of our puppies at an early age to begin the process of socialization and interaction with other puppies and people.
Maggie, the matriarch of the puppies, was born in November 2004, in Minnesota. We looked across the country to find just the right pup for our family. She shares the house with our 12-yr old Cairn Terrier, Sabrina. They have full run of the house and the one-acre yard, finding all sorts of places to go and things to do. They also favor the large sunny window to lounge away the hours when the children aren't at home with which to play.
We have 2 children, ages 11 and 19, and we play with the puppies daily. With this family, each puppy is given a generous amount of love, care, and socialization.
Maggie (our Goldendoodle) is a very social dog and loves to accompany us to coffee at Starbucks', swimming at the beach, playing at the park, or any other destination that we may set. We've taken her camping in the snow and swimming at the beach. She loves it all! As long as she's with the family, she's sure to have a great time!
We are very proud of our dogs, and specifically Maggie, our Goldendoodle. We raised her with care, and anyone who has met her knows that she has been treated with love and raised with respect.
